So. It seems that some of you have not yet donated to the "HAYES IS GRADUMATING FUND!"

But that's okay. You still all have plenty of time to do so. However, I realize now, that not all of you would be willing just to give me cash. And I respect that. So I offer a second option.

MY AMAZON WISHLIST!

So there you have it.
So, as many of you know, the graduation season is upon us.
Four years.

Scared freshman. Giant seniors. Do we exist? No. The seniors look right over our heads. But oh the talent we have. And they know it. Arsenic. Four of us on stage. Love's. More. We're taking over already. Falling in "moats", Snickers bars, and a carrot. Like nothing ever seen before. VCI/Blind Date. Cast and crew parties, drama, drama, theatre, drama. We know we're hooked.

Initiation. We're in. We're a family.

Sophomore year. More confident. The Nerd. New freshmen showing us up? We think not. Annie. Oh, goodness. Train-wreck, but we loved it. Cuddles on stage, horrible singing, Herbet Hoover and the Orphan Dance. So many dogs, so many mistakes. But still beautiful. SSS. Dracula. The moving stage, the blood, MJ talking about dykes. Trogdor hate war.

We start to say good-bye to the ones we've come to love. Old family out. New family in. New face, same love.

Junior year. proof. Magic. Two of us out of four roles. It's alive. Antigone. Fight scene. Victory. Confusion for all, happiness for most. Diviners. Beauty. Not a dry eye in the room, we've done what we set out to do.

Insanity. Parties, and who knows what. Closer than ever. Just us left. But we know nothing lasts forever.

Now. Rumors. Pretzels flying, a hideous duck. La Bamba, with flashlights on the ceiling. Crying already? Yeah... Yeah. SSS. Again. Feeling of pride, making people laugh. We love it. Time flies.

One more time, ladies and gentlemen. Once more do we make our way onto that stage, once more do the lights dim for the first time. This is it. We made it.

I love you. Each and everyone of you.

Now. As I'm sure most of you are aware, my birthday is coming up in a little more than a month. That's September the first, folks.

Normally, when asked what I want for this day (as well as in most cases where presents are involved), I give the following answer: "I don't know."
Sausages Are Bad For Your Health!

THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ!!!

If someone posts an entry with a link, with the text "this is very interesting," do not fucking click on it. This is a Trojan Javascript that just hit LJ today, I think.

If you do, go here and make sure only your e-mail addresses are listed, then change your password.

Earlier today someone discovered that they could cause posts to online journals using Javascript. On his website he has admitted (if I'm reading it right) that he can grab your cookie info by doing this.

If you have clicked on this link and posted in your journal, I suggest deleting the post, logging out of your journal, then logging back in.

Spreading Trojan Javascripts is a GREVIOUS VIOLATION of a ISP SERVICE contract, whether malicious or not. Contact his ISP.

Back to basics folks---treat journal postings as you would incoming email. Don't click on anything that sounds cryptic, even if it appears to be coming from a trusted source. Javascript is powerful, and Really Bad Things Can Happen in the wrong hands when you let people use your bandwidth in an unauthorized manner. I clicked on it and even though I clicked the back button after I realised what it was doing, it still managed to update my journal, so I cleared my cache/history, deleted cookies and changed my LJ password miaow!

RUSSIAN/SAUSAGE MEME
Do not access the Russian/Sausage meme. I'm no expert, but I took a look at the raw code and it appears to be Javascript that updates your journal automatically using cookies, your login and the update form. I'm not sure if it sends your password somewhere, but the form is responding to someone. That is, if this is similar to the "sausage" meme going around. There is a specific version of this code that is snagging passwords. If you want to know more about the technical details, check out this warning concerning these types of Javascript "auto-update" memes.

I already did the meme! What the hell do I do now?!
1. Access Internet Explorer. Go to Tools > Internet Options.
2. Select Delete Cookies, Delete Files, and Clear History.
3. Change your Livejournal password.
4. Make sure your Firewall is on and that you have logged out. Binding your login to your IP is your safest bet and always select for livejournal to LOG OUT when the browser closes.
5. Delete the entry.

We sounded great during "Blow Out the Trumpet". The piano sounded great. Too bad they weren't at the same tempo. And people weren't happy enough during "Shut de Do". Total lack of energy. *shakes his head at them*

But yeah. Sleep now. Mmm...bed. Later, peoples.

Mm...pretty out today. Still in the low eighties as I type. Nice enough that we had first hour outside. Just chillin' on the wall, reading Shakespeare. Would've been sweeter if my immune system was in better shape first thing in the morning, but eh. Stupid allergies.

Second hour, usual. Third hour, funness. Fourth hour, more math ignoring. I really should make-up that work, as its all pretty simple. Physics, map work...WTF? UN, started conference. Ben S. spoke in Klingon. Raf was near tears. ^_^

After school, did my papers, then chilled on the bench right by Borroughs Park, with my CD player and Good Omens. Good good book. Had me addicted from the prologue. And the Horsemen are scary, despite how funny the book is. *shivers*

Okay, so I think that's all for now. Later, peoples.

I both love and hate this time of the month. Love it, because there's actually food in the house! Hate it, because there's too much food in the house, allowing me to have something to munch on whenever I'm bored. Not a good thing. At the library right now to better avoid the siren call that is the kitchen.

Choir entertains me. We manage to sound better the first time ever doing a song that another certain choir in this city did at Choir Festival. It is a good thing. But not, because we have to sing with all the city choirs at the All-City Festival. Won't that be fun? -_-;;

I need to go to a comic shop. Why? Because there's a new X-Men book out, and it looks awesome. Astonishing X-Men. Must read. </geek>

Okay, that's enough updateyness for now. I'll probably be back at some other point. *hugs* Later, peoples.
